Every 2018 and newer FCA vehicles are equipped with a Security Gateway Module (SGW) designed to block access to the vehicle's OBD2 port by any device except those provided by the dealer for diagnostic purposes. The Z Automotive Security Gateway Bypass Module allows you to connect to your vehicle easily. Simply find and remove the Security Gateway module, and replace it with the Security Gateway Bypass block. This will enable the OBD2 port to fully access it, making it compatible with aftermarket devices like Z Automotives Tazer or BurnBox, as well as tuning tools and code readers.
