Dimensions: 1/8 x 14 and 3/32 x 12. FEATURES: Better resistance to corrosion in most acids then 308L. Smooth arc with uniform and flat and uniform weld bead. Low carbon content to reduce carbide precipitation thus increasing the resistance to inter-granular corrosion. APPLICATIONS: Excellent for welding acid-resistant steels such as 316 and 316L. Welds with good resistance to corrosion in most inorganic and organic acids, and to pitting in chloride-bearing solutions. Kept as dry as possible. Heating and cooling should be carried out slowly.
