Give your kitchen a touch of Mexico with this beautiful hand woven and colorful tortillero baskets. This tortillero warmers bring an elegant touch to your home and/or business and at the same time it keeps the traditional natural colors. The basket is made out of palm straw, Thermal Styrofoam and sowed by hand. This are meant to keep tortillas warm for a good amount of time. Basketry techniques and materials vary from region to region depending on the vegetation available (with about eighty species of plant use nationwide), with important traditions in Sonora, State of Mexico, Michoac n, Veracruz, Oaxaca and the Yucat n Peninsula. The tortilla warmer measures approximately 8 Diameter and 6 in height, however, sizing may vary. The basket will come with a Flower Design. You will be able to fit around 27 tortillas in a small basket, and about twice the amount in the bigger one. This item is handmade in Mexico. They come in different unique patterns and colors. Basketry in Mexico has two lineages, one indigenous and one Spanish. A piece of art!
