The AG100002 Universal Dual Air Gap is designed to provide an effective way of connecting water filters to a drain line. The paramount priority of this air gap is to protect the water supply. The AG100002 easily connects iron filters, reverse osmosis filters, or boilers purge lines to a standpipe through a codecompliant airgap. It also can be used for condensate drainage from airconditions, or sump pumps. The AG100002 air gap features two inlet ports that connect 3/8inch ID tubing from water filters to the drain line. The unique feature of this air gap is to be able to accommodate 11/2inch and 2inch stand drainpipes. Also, a unique design of this air gap enables the installation of multiple air gaps into the same drain connection. Up to three AG100002s can be installed into the same drain line to provide a total of six simultaneous water discharge connections. The AG100002s maximum flow rate is 4 gallons per minute (GPM) for each port. The maximum flow rate through an air gap is the highest flow rate at which water does not splash outside of an air gap. At maximum flow rate, the air gap is dry on the outside. The AG100002 air gap provides a secure connection between the discharge tubing and a drain line. The AG100002 air gap drain adapter is listed by UPC and in compliance with IPC and NSF standards.
