The STUDSON SHK-1 Full Brim Highbar Class C is built for crews who want more protection than a standard hard hat without losing comfort or airflow. This helmet meets ANSI Z89.1 Type I & Type II impact requirements and uses Koroyd throughout the crown and sides to help absorb energy more efficiently than traditional foam. Twiceme technology is integrated so first responders can quickly access critical medical information in an emergency. The Highbar chinstrap is the main upgrade separating this model from the rest of the SHK-1 line. It uses a molded, non-woven strap that keeps its shape, stays cleaner than nylon, and gives a consistent fit every time. No twisting. No stretching. No fraying. Designed for general construction, utilities, steel trades, carpentry, roofing, framing, solar installation, and hot job sites where a vented Class C shell helps reduce heat buildup. Compliance Note: This helmet meets ANSI Z89.1 Type I & Type II, Class C. This helmet does NOT meet CSA Type II or EN397 requirements.
