The Starrett 657T Flex-O-Post Indicator Holder is a versatile tool designed for use with all Starrett Test, Back-Plunger, AGD, Dial, and Miniature Dial Indicators, as well as similar indicators from other manufacturers. Its flexible post assembly, made of tubular steel sections and precision ball joints, can be adjusted to any position and securely locked using the lever near the magnetic base. This enables you to work in awkward and hard-to-reach places where traditional holding devices fall short. With a vertical reach of approximately 15 inches (380mm) and a horizontal reach of approximately 10 inches (250mm), the 657T offers extended reach for precise positioning of your indicators. The indicator easily rotates 360 degrees on the end of the post, allowing you to lock it in any desired position for accurate readings. The magnetic base features three precision ground magnetic contact surfaces, providing a secure grip in horizontal, vertical, or upside-down orientations. The V-step design ensures a firm hold on arbors, shafts, chucks, and other compatible surfaces.
