It utilizes a high-tech, water soluble formula to safely isolate and essentially deactivate chlorine and sulfur, the two most common causes of smelly, bad tasting water. For best results, use AQUA Water Treatment & Freshener every time you add water to the tank to maintain water quality and fresh taste. DIRECTIONS: Before adding fresh water to tank, add 1 fluid ounce of AQUA Water Treatment & Freshener for every 20 gallons of potable water to be treated then fill tank. Use as often as needed. NOTE: AQUA Water Treatment & Freshener is designed to keep water smelling and tasting fresh - if water has an unpleasant odor or taste, use AQUA Water Shock to restore water quality. If the odor or taste is very strong, use AQUA Water Tank & System Flush to completely clean and deodorize the entire fresh water system from the tank to fixtures to eliminate smell as well as the sludge or debris that causes it.
