This kit installs from beneath the floor and works by pulling the loose subfloor tight to the joist . Simple to install, takes just minutes with a cordless or Phillips screwdriver and an adjustable or open end wrench . Each Kit Includes (1) 4 adjustable floor joist bracket, (1) 2 square floor anchor plate, (1) 1/420 x 6 inch carriage bolt, (1) 1/420 hex nut, (1) 1/4 washer and (4) #10 x 5/8 subfloor wood screws. Simply locate the squeak from above with the help , of someone above, screw the anchor plate to the the subfloor close to the location of the squeak, install the bracket under the joist and tighten the hex nut to draw the subfloor tight to the joist.
