It has a selfcleaning piston to prevent clogging and reducing maintenance. It also features a positive seal to ensure leakfree performance. During a power outage the electronic flush valve can still be flushed using a mechanical manual override button. All the sensors and electronic controls are fully enclosed and water resistant. The range of the sensor can also be adjusted manually or by remote control. The American Standard flush valve will automatically flush after 24hours of nonuse to maintain trap seal. The flush valve is also ADA compliant.
