Use on baked clay, allow your oven bake clay creation to cool before adding the glaze. Sculpey Satin glaze is compatible with acrylic paint. Paint your clay creations after baking, allow to dry completely then seal with the Sculpey Satin Glaze. The Satin Glaze is perfect for all types of polymer ovenbake clay creations! From jewelry, sculptures, mixed media to home decor our glaze works on it all! Tips for using Sculpey Glaze Stir the glaze gently and refrain from shaking the bottle to prevent air bubbles Refrain from applying Sculpey Satin Glaze too thickly on your projects as it can peel. Add a few drops of water to achieve the desired consistency if your Sculpey glaze becomes too thick. Apply two to three thin coats as opposed to one thick one. Letting each coat dry for 30 minutes. Twist the cap for precise flow control, open halfway for detail work or open completely to flood. Non Toxic and safe Sculpey Satin Glaze conforms to ASTM D4236 and EN 71 safety standards, it is nontoxic and safe to use.
