It can be used to reinforce and repair metal, fiberglass and wood doors. Constructed of stainless steel, the lock reinforcer plate comes in a classic bronze finish. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. The lock reinforcement plate is prepunched for mounting. The reinforcer is designed for snug fit on a 13/4 inch thick doors that have mortise or drivein latches. Measuring 37/8 inch wide by 107/8 inch tall, the reinforcement plate accommodates keyin knob locksets on doors that have 21/8 inch bore sizes, 51/2 inch on center hole spacing, with a backset of 23/8 inch from the edge of the door.
