Product DescriptionThese horizontal bit key Locksets by PrimeLine Products are constructed of diecast metal and stamped steel components. The housing and keeper come in a blackpainted finish, and the door knobs and rosettes come in a brite brassplated finish to match other existing brassfinished hardware in the home. These types of locking devices are mortise pockets to be drilled into the door panel edge. All systems are keyedalike, and spare keys are available upon special order. Keyed different are not available. These locksets are for use on interior doors only, but they cannot be mounted on doors with prebored holes for modernday door knobs.From the ManufacturerThis horizontal trim lock set is constructed of stamped steel and diecast components. It comes with a black painted housing and keeper, and brass plated knobs. This trim lock set uses bit keys (skeleton key system) and it comes in only one handing as shown in photo and drawing. Note: this surface mounted lock is not reversible to accommodate opposite door handings.
