Description:
Magnesite is a fascinating gemstone that often appears in shades of white, gray, or brown, and can also be dyed to resemble turquoise. Its soft, porous nature gives it a unique texture, making it a popular choice for carved beads and cabochons. This stone is known for its calming properties and is often associated with relaxation and clarity.
Fun Fact:
Magnesite is a magnesium carbonate mineral and has been used historically for its ability to create refractory materials that withstand high temperatures. It was named after the region Magnesia in Greece, where it was first discovered. The stone is believed to help foster creative visualization and enhance meditation practices.
