Your Dentist will be happy that our gentle formula has a very low RDA (abrasive level) of only 69 making it one of the most enamel friendly toothpastes on the market. Periogen is always your best value and our toothpaste is no exception as it is concentrated requiring only a pea sized amount on the brush with each use. We like to say a little dab will do it.! For best results, use Periogen Oral Rinse after each brushing. Periogen Gel toothpaste does not contain foaming agents such as SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate). SLS has now been banned in Europe over safety concerns but is still an ingredient in many toothpastes under less stringent US cosmetic laws. Periogen toothpaste does not foam up during brushing like toothpastes containing SLS.
