AP-12077 White Cover-Up Plates are used to cover unused electrical boxes in ceilings or walls. With its universal fit installation bracket, this cover-up plate can fit many different sizes electrical boxes: Fits 3-1/4 to 4 electrical boxes with a hole spacing of anywhere between 1.75 to 3.5. The main feature of this item is that it fits for different sizes of electrical boxes. The outside is 5 inches across. But the way you this install makes all the difference. First, you install the bracket. Which can be positioned to accommodate for electrical boxes that have difference spacings between the screw holes. Then, you just use the center screw to attach the round metal ceiling blank up cover to the bracket.
