The garden box drip watering kit is engineered specifically for automatic drip watering of one garden box of up to 64 square feet based on 12-inch row spacing. This kit features the B-hyve Smart 1-Outlet Hose Faucet Sprinkler Timer with B-hyve Gen 1 Smart Hub. It is part of the B-hyve Smart water management device ecosystem which includes smart landscape controllers, hose faucet timers, flow meters, leak detectors and mainline shutoffs. You can control the timer anywhere in the world where your smartphone has reception. Smart not only means that you can control it from your smartphone, B-hyve WeatherSense technology makes it weather smart. When connected to Wi-Fi, B-hyve automatically checks your local weather conditions many times each day, recalculates the soil moisture level in each zone, and then makes smart choices about when and how long to water. In the event of rain, high wind, or freeze, B-hyve will delay watering until normal conditions return and then will calculate the appropriate watering schedule, helping take advantage of beneficial rainfall and saving water. The backbone of the garden box drip watering kit is 1/2-inch drip blank distribution tubing which carries the water in a rectangular circuit around the entire box and 1/4-inch soaker tubing which, when spaced 6 to 12 inches apart, forms a grid pattern that uniformly waters entirely beneath the plant canopy in a very efficient way. The Garden Box Drip Watering Kit includes: B-hyve Smart 1-Outlet Hose Faucet Sprinkler Timer with Gen 2 Hub, 1/4 Drip Blank Distribution Tubing (50 feet), 1/4 Soaker Tubing (50 feet), 1/2 Drip-Lock Elbow (4), 1/2 Drip-Lock Tee, 1/4 Self-Piercing Coupling (20), 3/4 FHT x 1/2 Drip-Lock 3-in-1 Filter, Pressure Regulator, and Drip Tubing Adapter, and drip tubing cutter. Attach the digital timer to your outside faucet and enjoy a fully automatic drip watering system. Compatible with drip fittings from Orbit, Hydro-Rain, and other major brands, which makes the kit easily expandable. For outdoor irrigation use with cold water only.
