These new filter products provide superior filtration for residential or commercial environments, thanks to polyethylene/polyester bicomponent fibers for the ultimate in particle retention captures. The Mini Pleats provide more surface area than conventionally pleated air filters, ensuring maximum efficiency for the overall size of your air filter frame. Because Nordic Pure Mini Pleat Filters provide a lower airflow resistance, this contributes to maximum efficiency --which translates into energy savings! Also, the greater filtration surface area enables these filters to (usually) last longer than conventionally pleated air filters. We conducted testing and research for nearly a year in order to find a MERV 8 media that would offer a very low airflow resistance. The result: our Nordic Pure MERV 8 Mini Pleat filter has an initial resistance of only 0.16--which is great for both new and older homes.
