This 2 point double hook mortise lock is commonly used on wood, extruded aluminum or vinyl sliding patio doors manufactured by Jeld Wen, Milgard, Anlin and others. Dual point hook latch insures greater security. The multi-point mortise lock with faceplate measures 11-3/4 L x 3/4 W, the faceplate screw hole spacing is 11, suitable for sliding glass door handles with screw hole spacing of 3-15/16. The included lock keeper and fastening screws ensure your sliding patio door will operate reliably. This 2-point mortise lock with 2 inward facing hooks features an anti-slam pin to protect the hardware and door. The hooks will not activate unless the door is closed, and can replace older models without pins or with hooks that pointed outward. The actuator is 45 keyway and available in both center and 3/4 offset options for use with center or off-center thumb turn handle sets. The hook travel distance can be adjusted with the adjustment screw to ensure a tight and seamless fit when closing the door
