Kit includes Phillips head drill bit for installing brackets and rail, 3/16 drill bit for predrilling holes for screws into studs, and allen key for tightening the internal splice. Set includes one (1X) handrail and six (6X) handrail brackets with mounting hardware and (2x) internal splice. The 13 foot handrail comes in three pieces with internal splices connecting them together as shown in the photos. The handrails are made from 2x1 aluminum stock tube to allow for easy grabbing. High strength exceeds construction load requirements of 200lbs or more. The handrails are designed to have at least 1.5 distance from wall to the handrail to allow for continuous support along the handrail. The handrail brackets are designed to be mounted directly into wall studs.
