Product DescriptionThe M-D Aluminum L-Shape Screw-on Commercial Under Door Seal features a vinyl seal for protection from drafts, moisture, dust and insects. Save on energy by sealing the bottom of the door and keeping the heat or air conditioning from escaping. The rounded drip cap diverts water and rain away from the doorway to limit puddling and potential water damage. Because of the L-Shape design, the Under Door Seal is not visible on the exterior of the door and it fits all door thicknesses. Screw holes are oval shape to allow for easy adjustment to fully seal the gap at the bottom of the door. All of the hardware needed to install is included. Before installation, cut to desired length using a hacksaw.From the ManufacturerEnergy loss through the bottom of doors can be minimized with the installation of a door bottom in conjunction with your smooth top threshold. This combination provides a weatherproof seal between the bottom of the door and the top of the threshold. Drip caps also provide your exposed entry ways protection by diverting water away from the door bottom and thresholds. M-D Building Products offers multiple combinations of new and replacement door bottoms and drip caps that will fit most entry doors.
