How to care for your titanium bracelet Scratching: Solid titanium is a relatively strong metal, however, similarly to gold and silver, it is still susceptible to scratching. Due to this, care must be taken with your bracelet. Minor scuffs can be buffed out with a cloth, however any deeper scratches will remain on the surface. Our black and gunmetal gray bracelets are electroplated, using the very highest quality techniques available, to produce a premium, brushed finish. As the plating is only at surface level, deeper scratches may make the titanium underneath visible, however light scratches can still be buffed out with a cloth. Maintenance: Titanium is one of the most durable metals and your Luxar titanium bracelet should not require much maintenance. To keep your bracelet in pristine condition we recommend following these steps twice a year: 1. Fill a bowl with lukewarm water, and add some mild dishwashing liquid. 2. Soak your titanium bracelet in the solution for about five minutes, and then gently rub the dirt off the piece with a soft cloth or sponge. 3. After your bracelet is clean, rinse it with clean water and dry it off with a clean towel (leaving titanium pieces to air dry may cause water marks on the surface).
