The Lutron Maestro 010Volt Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch works just like a Lutron Maestro dimmer with the addition of Lutrons advanced motion sensing technology. The passive infrared (PIR) sensor, covered by a tamper resistant lens, detects heat from occupants moving and has a 180 field of view (900 sq. ft. major motion & 400 sq. ft. minor motion coverage. Unlike other manufacturers, Lutron sensors use Cross Correlation Technology (XCT) to also detect fine motion, such as typing at a desk or reading a book ensuring lights wont turn off when youre still in the room. Use the raise/lower buttons to adjust the light level for any activity or set the preset level to ensure lights always turn on to your desired light level automatically. Easily program your dimmer sensor for customization of both the dimmer and the sensors functions, such as timeout, lowend trim and sensor sensitivity. Lutron sensors have an adjustable timeout (1, 5, 15 or 30 minutes) to control how long the lights stay on after leaving the room. The 010Volt Motion Sensor/Dimmer Switch is rated to work with all drivers, up to 8 Amp LED drivers/4.4 Amp Fan (1/6 HP) with a 50mA max sink current. Install in a single pole, 3way with existing switch or with Maestro companion switches (MAAS/MSCAS) to switch from up to 9 locations. Available in 10+ colors. Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
