The Leviton Decora Smart Zigbee 15A Receptacle lets you control lights and appliances from anywhere when paired with a compatible ZWave controller. Connect your plugin lamps, holiday lighting, and small appliances to the top Controlled outlet, while the bottom Powered outlet remains always on. Uses 700Series Chipset which offers S2 security and is enabled with SmartStart. The ZW15R features tamper resistant receptacles with builtin shutters to prevent the insertion of unintended foreign objects. As well, the integrated button with vanishing feedback LED provides manual pushbutton on/off control and clear indication at any time. Typical applications include switching of lamps, portable fans, kitchen appliances, indoor fountains, holiday lighting, and more. When paired with a required ZWave hub, use your voice to control via Amazon Alexa or Hey Google, sold separately. If you do not wish to use a hub but still desire voice controls and select thirdparty device integration, Leviton recommends the DW15R.
