Why You Need It
Lift a KDSS-equipped 4Runner or GX more than ~2" and your front sway-bar bushings start to bind.
That binding adds resistance, shortens bushing life, and limits suspension movement.
These adjustable brackets fix the angle so everything lines up correctly again — no more binding, no premature wear, and a smoother ride.
Special Scenario: If you’re running extended-travel or long-travel (Total Chaos, etc.) with KDSS, you’ll need the adapters to gain that extra droop. The adapters may slightly over-clock the bushing angle, and that’s where the bushing bracket comes in — it corrects the angle and keeps everything cycling smoothly with no bind.
