The Mini Distribution Center (MDC) is a structured cabling solution for multiunit buildings, small homes, and retrofit installations to existing homes. This mini structured media enclosure provides a central distribution point for voice, data, video, audio, or security services. It is compact to fit in small areas. Engineered for ease of installation, the surfacemounted MDC provides cable routing by providing cable access openings on both sides of the enclosure. Designed to be surface mounted and suitable for compact areas with flexible needs for distribution of connectivity with dual side access for easy cable entry and exit. The Voice Module has 8 ports, up to 4 incoming phone lines, up to 32 extensions, and two builtin ports: RJ31X and Expansion. ICCs Data Modules are TIA Category 6 rated with 8ports, and are for broadband internet access to 8 computers or Ethernet devices. Video modules include 1 input, 6 outputs, and 2GHz bandwidth. Features Provides an excellent solution for homes, and for remodeling installations. Includes connectivity modules. Includes three mounting screws. Enclosure combos are not designed to be installed in firewall applications. Complies with UL 1863, TIA568C, TIA570B, and TIA607 standards.
