ICCs 14inch residential wiring enclosure with cover is designed for singlefamily homes with a wireless network. It serves as a structured media enclosure providing a central distribution point for voice, data, video, audio, or security services. The enclosure and cover are made with sturdy ABS plastic to prevent cracking. The plastic is lightweight to allow better WiFi signal and coverage. The enclosure has a universal mounting pattern to accommodate ICCs and most manufacturers active modules. The cover snaps onto the enclosure and can be screwed down to restrict access. Its also vented to provide heat dissipation.The Voice Module has 8 ports, up to 4 incoming phone lines, up to 32 extensions, and two builtin ports: RJ31X and Expansion. ICCs Data Modules are TIA Category 6 rated with 8ports, and are for broadband internet access to 8 computers or Ethernet devices. Video modules include 1 input, 6 outputs, and 2GHz bandwidth. Features 0.1inch gauge plastic enclosure. Mount between 16inch wall studs or on a wall. Modules can snap in horizontally and vertically. Eight module mounting spaces. Removable cable entry knockouts; four on top and three on the bottom. Four builtin cable tie points. Removable knockouts for two AC power outlets (not included) to provide power distribution. Vented front cover. Complies with UL 1863, TIA568C, TIA570B, and TIA607 standards. UL 94V0 safety rated.
