The same trusted EFT 2-way performance — with a softer touch for sensitive horses, foals, and reactive coats.
EquiTecs EFT Functional Tape 2-Way Gentle uses the same cotton and nylon Spandex construction as the standard EFT line, with a lower-tack 5N adhesive specifically for horses that don’t tolerate standard adhesive strength, young horses, or first-time taping situations.
This is the only gentle-adhesive functional tape available for animals. No other company offers a lower-tack option designed for sensitive or reactive animals — this is an EquiTecs exclusive.
Key features:
- 5N gentle adhesive — medical-grade, latex-free; softer than the 7N standard EFT tape and the 9N 4-way stretch tape
- The only animal-specific gentle tape on the market — no other manufacturer offers a lower-tack option for equine or animal use
- 2-way stretch (longitudinal only) — precise, targeted support along fascial planes and muscle groups without restricting movement
- Safe removal — high tensile strength gives way if misapplied; removes easily in the direction of hair growth
- Compatible with all EFT protocols — support, fascia, decompression, circulation, and neurological applications
- Also suitable for human use — where a gentler adhesive is preferred
