Super Nintendo non oem reproduction Harvest Moon video game cartridge.
Harvest Moon for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) is a 16-bit farming life simulation game developed by Amccus and published by Natsume in North America in June 1997. Conceived by director Yasuhiro Wada as a relaxing country-living game to contrast popular fighting titles, it launched the long-running Harvest Moon / Story of Seasons franchise.
Core Premise
· The Story: The player takes on the role of a young city boy who inherits a dilapidated, weed-choked farm from his grandfather.
· The Goal: Turn the rundown plot into a prosperous, top-tier farm within a time limit of two and a half in-game years.
· The Judgment: At the end of the time limit, the player's father visits to evaluate the farm's success, leading to one of several unique endings.
Gameplay Mechanics
· Farming Chores: Clearing the fields of rocks, weeds, and logs using tools like axes, hammers, and hoes.
· Crop Cultivation: Tilling the soil, buying seeds, planting, and watering crops daily to harvest and sell them.
· Livestock Care: Raising chickens and cows, which require daily feeding, brushing, and milking to keep them healthy and productive.
· Time Management: Balancing short, fast-moving daytime hours with energy/stamina limitations before checking the evening town bar.
Social Life & Town Dynamics
· Bachelorettes: Wooing and building relationships with one of five unique local bachelorettes by offering gifts.
· Family Life: The ability to get married, upgrade the main farmhouse, and raise children before the clock runs out.
· Community: Interacting with neighbors and participating in seasonal community festivals that offer a break from daily labor.
