Fragrance is a catch-all term on an ingredient list for over 3,000 chemicals, some of which can disrupt vaginal health and contribute to infections. That's why we keep our products fragrance free.
Why are Healthy Hoohoo products paraben free?
Parabens are synthetic preservatives that extend product shelf life, but they are linked to hormone disruption and potential carcinogenic effects. Parabens can also irritate the vulva, making them a no-go for gentle, healthy vulvar care.
Why are Healthy Hoohoo products glycerin free?
Glycerin is found in many personal care products. Although moisturizing, it is a sugar derivative, meaning it can feed yeast and increase the risk of UTIs and vaginal infections. That's why we are one of the few vulvar care companies that leave it out.
