The General Tools 841014 Dowel Accessory Kit includes everything needed for wood joining projects. Included in the 17 piece kit are 12 1/4 in. dowel pins, one 1/4 in. brad point drill bit, one 1/4 in. drill stop collar, two 1/4 in. dowel centers and 1 hex key. The dowel pins are of straightgrained hardwood with chamfered ends for easy installation. They are also grooved to accommodate excess glue during insertion. The fluted dowel pins swell on contact with waterbased glue for an extratight fit. As an FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), certified company, Generals Wood Joining Program includes wood based products that are manufactured in accordance with FSC standards. The FSC is an independent, nongovernmental, notforprofit organization established to promote the responsible management of the worlds forests and is nationally represented in more than 50 countries around the world.
