The ratcheting handles and adapters allow for easy back and forth movement required while cutting threads on either taps or dies. The 5 ratcheting arc with reversing lever eliminates hand over hand turning. The hex die adapters work on either round or hex shaped dies.From the ManufacturerGearWrench 3882 Small Tap Adapter fits tap ranges from number 4 to 3/8Inch (3 to 10 Millimeter). Includes small tap adapter and sliding t handle. Can be used in conjunction with GearWrench 3881 tap and die ratcheting T Wrench. Adjustable jaws are made of tool steel with a black satin finish. The body of the adapter and sliding T is also made of the finest tool steel with a high polish nickel chrome finish for long tool life. Tool is manufactured to close tolerances for precision use.
