The FLIR TG298 is an all-in-one, non-contact measurement and imaging tool with 60% faster boot-up time (~6 second), higher temperature ranges, that includes Super Resolution technology to enhance image quality. Through Super Resolution, the native resolution of 160120 effectively upscales the image to 320240, delivering greater detail and improved sharpness. Super Resolution ensures clearer thermal images for more precise diagnostics. This advanced imaging capability helps users quickly identify issues, improve decision-making, and conduct more reliable thermal inspections. Accurately measure temperatures up to 1080C (1976F) with a 30:1 spot size ratio and bullseye laser pointer. The TG298 is ideal for high-temperature industrial uses such as measuring the heat of glass furnaces, kilns, and forges as well as manufacturing applications, allowing you to accurately target potential faults, troubleshoot repairs, and monitor processes. Improve image detail of the native thermal image with Super Resolution, for upscaling images to 320x240. Diagnose problems faster with FLIR-patented MSX image enhancement to add additional detail to aid in troubleshooting. Easily monitor and predict faults with temperature trending, logging and alarms. With the METERLiNK App, remotely monitor measurements and document inspection data to produce reports while in the field. This thermal imaging product has a frame rate of 9Hz and is regulated by the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC), Export Administration Regulations (EAR) under ECCN 6A993.a, and is subject to certain export restrictions, including prohibitions on sales or transfers involving military end uses or military end users.
