Stainless steel grommets on the EZ Tofu Press top plate allows for smooth pressing and eliminates plastic from getting into tofu. Other tofu press brands have stainless steel threads rubbing against plastic plate which can tear the plastic off their press plate during operation. Only the EZ Tofu Press has specially designed fitted stainless steel grommets to prevent this from occurring. The EZ Tofu Press can be used with most tofu brick sizes, both small and large portions can be dried. Easy to clean, place in the top rack of the dishwasher or just use hot soapy water.
