The ergotec SP-10.0 telescopic suspension seat post offers a comfortable riding experience and is designed for urban, trekking and MTB use. The ergotec SP-10.0 is equipped with a steel spring that provides a first-class suspension for driver weight 70-120 kg. Optional springs for different weight classes is also available. The seat post uses coil springs to offer adjustable suspension characteristics and very good sensitivity. In a discreet look, the seat post with 45 mm travel represents a flexible solution for comfortable rides. This effectively absorbs bumps and shocks on the road.

To adjust the suspension perfectly to your individual rider weight, the seatpost has an adjustable preload of the steel spring. With a standard Allen wrench, you can easily adjust the preload and thus set an ideal suspension characteristic for your personal needs. With a diameter of 31.6 mm, it fits into the most common bicycle frames, while a length of 350 mm and an offset of 15 mm allow for a comfortable riding position. The 45 mm stroke provides sufficient clearance for off-road riding and rough roads.

Proven High-Quality though Extreme Strength Tests. In ergotec Test Center, all ergotec handlebars, stems and seat posts are subjected to extreme long-term tests, both individually and in combination. In addition to testing in line with European standards, ergotec also tests according to the significantly higher ergotec SAFETY LEVEL requirements.

Safety Level to Define Component Capacity. ergotec components of the Level 6+ group have been specially developed for use on mountain bikes and e-mountain bikes. Handlebars, stems and seat posts meet the highest ergotec safety standards and, thanks to their extreme robustness, can be used for a total weight (vehicle + rider + luggage) of up to 160 kg

Easy Adjustment of Components. You can adjust the pretension via the screw-on end cap in order to regulate the progressive steel spring characteristics curve to suit your preferences. Also, you can easily adjust the damping to the rider’s weight by replacing the spring.

High Suspension Comfort and Low Breakaway Torque. Based on the combination of perfectly adjusted spring damping and reduced piston friction thanks to low-friction bushings, the telescopic post offers high suspension comfort and a low breakaway torque. Thus, the suspension seatpost quickly responds to the adjusted pressure while reliably guiding the tube for best saddle support.
