DMC satin floss is a shiny radiant thread made from 100percent rayon fibers. It is the shiniest DMC thread available and it glides easily through fabric. The bright fibers of satin floss make this thread ideal for creating surface embroidery stitches which reflect light beautifully. Satin floss is comprised of 6 size 25 easily separated strands, allowing to adjust the thickness of stitching by using a different number of strands. It gives a wonderful brightness to all designs in traditional embroidery as well as in cross stitch. A shimmering brightness, a touch as soft as silk.
