The Design House 727990 Passage Knob does not lock and is used in bedrooms, hallways and other rooms where privacy is not important. Features two, nonlocking knobs, one on each side of the door. Finished in oil rubbed bronze and designed for left or right hand doors, this knob fits the two most common backsets in the U.S. (23/4inch and 23/8inch). Use this knob on standard 13/8inch and 13/4inch thick doors with a cross bore 21/8 in dia or edge bore 11/16 in dia. (1 in. x 21/4 in. radius corner faceplate). The Passage Knob is ideal for install on closet, hallway and bedroom doors and not intended for locking purposes.
