The Dealmed Single-Use Povidone-Iodine Swabsticks are non-sterile. They are well suited to prep the skin prior to minor procedures and helps with minor cuts, scrapes, and burns in a convenient swab design prior to bandaging up wounds. Each disposable swabstick is fully saturated with a 10% solution of povidone iodine. They can be used prep the skin prior to minor invasive procedures including venipuncture, renal dialysis and starting an intravenous treatment.
