To build the upper, we used a specialized process to impregnate split leather with polyurethane to create an exceptionally durable and abrasion-resistant leather, then paired that with 900D polyester. A breathable Danner Dry waterproof barrier keeps water and mud out, while 800g Thinsulate Ultra keeps you warm. The venerable Danner Vital outsole features multi-directional lugs to keep you on your feet on uneven and slick terrain. And the Lock & Load lacing system features speed hooks and reengineered ghillies across the forefoot for quick lacing and a secure, yet quiet, fit.
