This 121/2 x 241/2 rectangle ruler is what we call the Big Easy the largest rectangle on the market. This ruler is the perfect choice for home dec projects, trimming quilts, and cutting and mitering borders, its almost twice the width of the bestselling 61/2 x 241/2 rectangle ruler! It features easytoread black and white markings printed in 1 grids marked in 1/8 and 1/4 increments. Use the easytoread, black numbers (printed on white dots) and the 1/4 grip sides to cut whole inches. The 1/4 dashed lines printed on two adjoining sides aid in trimming seam allowances. Use the patented TurnARound feature designated by the easyoread, numerical white numbers (printed on black dots) and the 1/2 grip sides to add the 1/2 seam allowance. Use the white 45 angle to trim halfsquare triangles in wholeinch increments. Use the black 45 angle to trim halfsquare triangles in halfinch increments. Or use these 45 angles to cut mitered corners on wide borders. An additional black 45 line is placed so that two angles cross 1/4 away from the outside edge. Use these markings to square up flying geese units; squares set on point or mark crosshatching. The ruler also features 30, 60, and 120 angles. White horizontal and vertical lines are printed on the rectangle so the center of the ruler is easily distinguishable. Use these lines to fussy cut stripes and borders.
