We are the inventor of Metallic Confetti over 35 years ago in small little shop in Culver City, in the heart of Los Angeles, and yes down the street from the palm trees of famed Beverly Hills. .. Do you believe a time when there was No Happy Birthday Confetti, or Christmas Trees for the holidays or spiders for Halloween, and Heart Confetti to sprinkle on that table for the one special dinner you gave your wife - way back when? Yes, those OLD days, that were really not all that long ago. .. Well, we stumbled upon this idea, about mid 1987, when we were at a paint store on fairfax blvd. Looking for ideas to put on some greeting cards we were selling, and we saw some diamonds and square metallic shapes. .. We were, two students out of UC-LA. A brilliant artist, and a not so bright student, but world traveler, and with our futures in great doubt, and graduating 2 years prior we started our business. We first made artist things, then a cool greeting card line that was our first hit, when custom cards were the rage, which brought us to the paint store and the idea, that this would be a very COOL IDEA for parties and nearly every event. .. From there, we contacted the only two glitter makers in the US, and asked for them to make shapes, and were told no. Like sorry, we are making too much money, in glitter. So. we search the tool and die guys in downtown LA, and found a machinist to take the project on, and soon after our Confetti was in every Party Store, Gift, Greeting Card, Groceries, and Department Stores in the USA. I mean 20,000 stores. Made in the USA .. YIkes, Confetti is now everywhere, because it is that small extra effort, to show someone that you care. That can show your emotion, or simply create a smile. Personally, at times, and even at events that celebrate our family and friends lives., .. So, be assured, we know about confetti, and give us a go. .. The Jimmy Jems Confetti Team
