Gameboy Advance non oem reproduction Castlevania Classc NES Series video game cartridge. Game cartridge comes with a plastic protective case just like the picture shows.
The Classic NES Series: Castlevania for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) is a portable port of the original 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) title. Released in October 2004, it faithfully recreates the gothic horror platforming of the first entry in the long-running series.
Game Overview
- Protagonist & Goal: You play as vampire hunter Simon Belmont, who enters Count Dracula's demon castle to defeat him and restore peace to Transylvania.
- Gameplay: It is a linear 2D side-scrolling action platformer. You use the iconic Vampire Killer whip and various sub-weapons like holy water, throwing axes, and daggers to fight through six levels filled with classic horror monsters like zombies, bats, and Medusa.
- Difficulty: The game is known for its steep challenge, featuring "stiff" controls (Simon cannot change direction mid-jump) and unforgiving boss fights against figures like the Grim Reaper.
Key Features of the GBA Port
- Authentic Experience: Critics and technical analysts note it is a near-perfect emulation of the original NES version, retaining the original 8-bit graphics and iconic soundtrack.
- GBA Improvements: Unlike the original NES cartridge, this version includes a save feature (SRAM save) that allows you to save your progress at any level, a major convenience for portable play.
- Visual Adjustments: Because of the GBA's screen size, the graphics are slightly altered to fit the aspect ratio, which some users describe as "slightly squashed" compared to the original TV display.
