The Pit Lane adds an important racing element to the Carrera track. The Pit Lane works in conjunction with the Control Unit (30352) or the Black Box (30344). However, the extended tank function is only available when used with the Control Unit.The pit lane gives you three new ways to make the races on your track even more exciting and add tactical elements.Automatic lap counterOn the one hand, a lap count is integrated in the pit lane. Especially on longer races you can quickly lose count of the laps you have driven. Thanks to the automatic counting you can concentrate fully on your lap times. The lap counter can also be deactivated if desired. Vehicle refuellingRegardless of the racing series - the pit stop is always a special moment. Used tactically, it can make the difference between victory and defeat. And the same goes on your Carrera track! You can arrange it so that the slot cars have to make regular pit stops. If you do not go to the pit, the slot cars slow down and the end can be completely changed. You need the Driver Display (30353) so that you can read the fuel level in your tank. Use of a pace carOn the other hand, the pit lane also allows the race to be led by a pace car. As in real races, you can bring the pace car onto the track after an accident to recover the vehicles that have strayed from the track. You just have to make sure that the slot car has pace car electronics.
