The Canson XL Series brings this legacy in an accessible form for art students, art hobbyists and beginners. Featuring a wide range of paper for many techniques, Canson XL includes sketching, drawing, mixed media, bristol, palette paper, newsprint, watercolor, acrylic painting, oil painting paper and more! Pads are available in popular sizes like 9x12 inch and 11x14 inch. Some paper types even feature more than five different sizes and multiple configurations, with wired binding or glue binding, depending on preference. Mixed Media paper is specifically configured as a medium grain paper with heavy sizing for wet and dry media. Each sheet erases well and blends easily. The wired pads have microperforated truetosize sheets for easy removal. Mixed Media is also available in an even heavier weight, rough sheet, and in a gray or neutral toned page for unique effects. All paper is acidfree, meaning the surface will not become yellow or brittle over time, leading to premature aging and eventual deterioration of the paper. Artists prefer acidfree paper to ensure their artwork is preserved for generations.
