Description
Malachite: Malachite is a vibrant green mineral known for its striking banded patterns that range from light to deep green. Formed in copper-rich environments, it has been cherished since ancient times for its beauty and believed protective qualities. Popular in jewelry and decorative items, malachite adds a bold, earthy elegance to any design.
Fun Fact:
Malachite gets its vivid green color from copper, which also makes it a mineral with ancient ties to early metalworking. Its distinctive swirling patterns have been likened to miniature landscapes or mesmerizing abstract art. In ancient Egypt, it was crushed into powder and used as eye makeup, believed to protect against evil spirits!
