Parallel golden lines and crisp white dots give deep brown Krobo glass tubes a structured, earthy look for statement jewelry and professional bead sourcing.

Bring an earthy, graphic palette into jewelry collections with these African Glass Beads – Painted Krobo Long Tubes, handcrafted in Ghana from recycled glass. Deep chocolate-brown surfaces are detailed with mustard-gold painted lines and rows of small white dots, producing a strong linear rhythm across the elongated forms.

Each bead measures approximately 9.5–11mm × 23–30.5mm. The long tube profile provides substantial visual presence for statement necklaces, focal sections, repeated compositions, and mixed-material jewelry, while approximately 2–2.5mm holes offer useful flexibility for a range of stringing approaches.

These beads are associated with contemporary Krobo glass-beadmaking traditions in Ghana, where glass continues to be transformed into individually formed and decorated components. Differences in dimensions, contour, brown tone, paint placement, texture, and hole formation are expected characteristics of handmade production.

Each strand measures approximately 11–12 inches and contains approximately 10 beads, providing jewelry designers, bead retailers, studios, and small-batch brands with a distinctive Ghanaian glass component for professional sourcing.

CULTURAL & MATERIAL NOTE

Krobo glass beadmaking forms part of Ghana's continuing beadmaking landscape and reflects skilled knowledge of transforming glass into individually formed and decorated components.

Contemporary makers continue to produce glass beads for jewelry, commerce, design, and creative practice. Painted examples such as these demonstrate how linear and dotted surface decoration can interact with an elongated bead form to create a distinctive visual identity.

These beads are best understood as part of a living Ghanaian craft tradition. No sacred, spiritual, ceremonial, or symbolic meaning is assigned to the painted lines or dots without supporting documentation.

HANDMADE VARIATION NOTICE

Because these beads are handcrafted, slight differences may occur in:

Shape • Length • Diameter • Straightness / Curvature • Surface Texture • Brown Color Tone • Painted Line Width • Dot Spacing • Paint Coverage • Hole Size

These differences are expected within handmade production and contribute to the visual character of each strand.

CARE & HANDLING

Handle glass beads carefully and avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces.

For routine cleaning, gently wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged soaking, abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or aggressive scrubbing, especially across painted surfaces.

Allow beads to dry completely before storage.
