Bold cobalt-blue and golden-yellow Krobo glass tubes bring graphic painted rhythm and statement scale to designer jewelry, bead-store assortments, and wholesale sourcing.

Create high-impact jewelry compositions with these African Glass Beads – Painted Krobo Long Tubes, handcrafted in Ghana from recycled glass. The elongated tubes combine rich cobalt/royal blue with mustard-golden yellow, accented by coral-red circular details and crisp white dotting.

At approximately 10–11mm × 27–32mm, these beads offer substantial length and visual presence. Their approximately 2–2.5mm holes support a range of possible stringing approaches, while the long tube form is especially effective in statement necklaces, focal sections, repeated linear designs, and mixed-material compositions.

Associated with contemporary Krobo glass-beadmaking traditions in Ghana, these beads reflect continuing knowledge of glass transformation, bead forming, and decorative surface work. Variations in shape, dimensions, paint placement, color intensity, surface texture, and hole size are expected characteristics of handmade production.

Each strand measures approximately 10–11 inches and contains approximately 10 beads, making this style well suited to jewelry designers, bead stores, creative studios, and small-batch brands sourcing distinctive Ghanaian glass components.

CULTURAL & MATERIAL NOTE

Krobo glass beadmaking forms part of Ghana's continuing beadmaking landscape and reflects skilled knowledge of transforming glass into individually formed and decorated components.

Contemporary makers continue to produce beads for jewelry, trade, design, and creative practice. Painted examples such as these show how surface decoration can interact with bead shape to create distinctive visual identities.

These beads are best understood as examples of living Ghanaian craftsmanship and contemporary material production. No sacred, ceremonial, spiritual, or symbolic meaning is assigned to the painted circles, bands, or dots without supporting documentation.

HANDMADE VARIATION NOTICE

Because these beads are handcrafted, expect slight variation in:

Shape • Length • Diameter • Surface Texture • Color Intensity • Painted Band Width • Circle Placement • Dot Spacing • Hole Size

These differences are normal characteristics of handmade production and give each strand individual visual character.

CARE & HANDLING

Handle glass beads carefully and avoid dropping them onto hard surfaces.

For routine cleaning, gently wipe with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, prolonged soaking, or vigorous scrubbing, particularly across painted surfaces.

Allow beads to dry completely before storage.
