In each of our ceramic coating kits, we have previously supplied our Coating Prep with a 12% IPA mixture as an effective tool for the coating process. As we have furthered our ceramics offering, and deeply invested ourselves into perfecting ceramics for both the professional and the consumer, we noticed that our previous Coating Prep tended to slightly grab and wasnt as slick as we wanted during our final wipe downs. We have worked diligently through countless iterations of our new Surface Prep to perfect the formula for easy application, fast evaporation, and effective removal for pre-protection applications. Adams Surface Prep leaves surfaces bare and free of any residue, as a necessary step before applying an Adams Ceramic Coating. The adjusted formula allows for the towel to easily glide over a panel, reducing the risk of final scratches, and quickly evaporates after wiping with the increased amount of IPA concentration. Ceramic coatings like Adam's Paint Coating, Adam's Trim Coating, Adams Wheel Coating, and Adams Ceramic Spray Coating provide extremely durable protection using cutting-edge technology to the detailing community. Adam's Ceramic Coatings use Si02 (silica) to provide long-lasting protection, even more durable than our Paint Sealant and Americana Paste Wax. However, before applying a ceramic coating, it's very important to take the necessary steps to make application of the coating a smooth process. The surface needs to be as clean as possible to accomplish this. For exterior trim, Adam's Trim Cleaner is a quick and perfect way to scrub textured plastic and rubber trim free of dirt and oxidation, but making sure a painted surface is ready for one of our coating options requires much more preparation.
