The pail has a rounded hanging hoop that connects to the top of the pail via (2) sturdy welded joints. The joints let the hanging hoop swing from one side of the pail to the other effortlessly and makes for comfortable carrying in the hand. The pail has a wider mouth than base and the lip has been tapered to give it a nice round edge. The base of the pail also has rounded edges making it smooth all around.
