This product is designed for One-Way Operation. It comes in pairs, one for the left side and one for the right. You should install 2 at each side, then the door will stop softly when opening AND closing.Note:Each soft close mechanism fit for door weight up to 160 pounds. Size: 13 x 0.6 x 1.18in.Preparation before Installation Adjustable Tension/Tightness Design:The tightening effect can be adjusted according to the door weight. Just turn the screw to less/more direction. Adjustable Actuator/Trigger Height:Adjust the height according to the gap between door top and bottom of soft close. Range: 0.39in to 0.59in. Install the Soft Close Mechanism Function 1: Drilling holes on track: Simply attach the soft close on the back of the rail and then fix it with the supplied screws&nuts. Function 2: No need to drill holes: Connect the two S-Shape hooks to both end sides of the soft close with the supplied screws. Then simply attach the soft close to the back of the track with the hooks and fasten it with hex wrench. Install the Actuator 1.To determine where to install the actuator on the door, firstly you may push the door to the final stop position. 2.Then place the actuator into the gap of the soft close, and fix the actuator there with the supplied screws. If there is a distance between door and actuator, you could add actuator spacers to adjust. 3.Repeat the above steps on the other side while installing the second soft close set.
