Looking to add fog lights to your 2016-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.
Gen5DIY now has the needed harness to do just that. This is the harness only and is intended for those that have already purchased the fog lights on their own. This harness will allow the fog lights to automatically come on at night when both the parking lights and headlights are on. The fog lights will remain on when the high beams are turned on, if you prefer they go off with the high beams please select the appropriate option. This harness has both positive and negative wire leads at each fog light location for you to add aftermarket fog lights that do not use factory connector.
THIS HARNESS WILL NOT HAVE THE CONNECTOR FOR THE FOGLIGHTS ON IT AS IT IS MADE FOR THOSE USING UNIVERSAL FIT FOGLIGHTS

Installation:
Fog light harness installation
You will have to remove the air cleaner assembly to gain access to the passenger side headlight connector
Once removed disconnect the headlamp connector and install our harness in line with the original truck harness and the headlight.
Connect the ring terminal wire to the positive battery stud
Route the pigtails down to the bumper and connect to your new fog lights
